Village Customer Liability Waiver

Thank you for choosing Village to support your postpartum journey. To ensure transparency and mutual understanding, we kindly request that you read and sign this liability waiver before receiving your meal package. By signing, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Acknowledgment of Service

Village provides meal packages specifically designed to support postpartum recovery. While our meals are thoughtfully prepared by a registered dietitian and holistic nutritionist, they are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition or illness. Village’s services are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

Village is committed to accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences to the best of our ability. However:

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to communicate all dietary restrictions, food allergies, or sensitivities at the time of purchase.

  • Village prepares all meals in a facility that processes common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, dairy, gluten, and soy. While we take precautions to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee meals are completely free from trace allergens.

  • By signing this waiver, you acknowledge and accept the risk of potential allergic reactions or adverse effects.

3. Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and consuming Village’s meal packages, you voluntarily assume all risks related to:

  • The storage, handling, and preparation of meals once delivered to your home.

  • Any adverse reactions or health concerns resulting from consuming the meals.

You agree to follow all instructions provided with the meals regarding proper storage and reheating to ensure food safety.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Village, its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any injury, illness, allergic reaction, or other adverse effects resulting from the consumption of our meals.

  • In no event shall Village’s liability exceed the cost of the meal package purchased.

5. Personal Responsibility

By signing this waiver, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You have consulted your healthcare provider about your dietary needs if necessary.

  • You accept full responsibility for determining whether the meals provided by Village are suitable for your postpartum recovery and overall health.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Village, its founders, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of or related to your use of our meal packages.

7. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
